Test your risk of developing diabetes
A large number of people have Type 2 diabetes without knowing it, while even more run a high risk of developing it. This is partly determined by your lifestyle.

The following test will provide you with an indication of whether you belong to a high-risk group or not. Answer all the questions, then click the calculate button for your result.

WARNING:  Only a blood test and your doctor can provide an accurate diagnosis. This test is intended as a guide only.

The initial symptoms of Type 2 diabetes are often extreme thirst, a frequent need to urinate, inexplicable weight loss, blurred vision, and fatigue. If you experience any of these symptoms you should contact your doctor immediately.  An early diagnosis is important in order to to avoid later complications such as blindness, hardening of the arteries, cardiovascular diseases, kidney problems, neuritis (inflammation of the nerves) or amputation.
